Signs That May Raise Concerns About Infidelity

Changes in behaviour do not necessarily indicate infidelity and may have many explanations. If you have concerns about a cheating partner or spouse, a confidential discussion with a licensed private investigator can help you understand whether an investigation is appropriate.

Tailored Infidelity Investigations

Every situation is different, and each investigation is carefully considered based on your individual circumstances.

During your free, confidential consultation, we’ll discuss your concerns, explain the options available and recommend a suitable investigative approach.

All costs and arrangements are clearly explained before you make any commitment.

How Is Infidelity Surveillance Conducted?

Infidelity surveillance may involve a combination of static observation, foot surveillance, vehicle surveillance and public transport, depending on the circumstances and movements of the person being observed.

For example, an investigation may begin with vehicle surveillance before transitioning to public transport or foot surveillance, followed by stationary observation in a public setting such as a café, restaurant or bar.

In some circumstances, additional surveillance operatives may be recommended to effectively conduct the investigation. The approach is tailored to the individual circumstances and discussed with the client for their approval before proceeding.

All surveillance is conducted discreetly, professionally and in accordance with applicable laws.

Important Notice - Protection Orders

A Domestic Violence Order (DVO) or Temporary Protection Order may prohibit a respondent from locating, monitoring or conducting surveillance of a protected person.

Protection orders may also include the condition:

“Cannot get another person to do what you are not allowed to do.”

This means that if you are prohibited from locating, monitoring or conducting surveillance of a protected person, you cannot engage a private investigator or another person to undertake those activities on your behalf.

This restriction may also apply to skip tracing, which involves investigative enquiries to locate an individual and may include digital enquiries or physical surveillance.

Go Ahead Investigations will not accept instructions for skip tracing, surveillance or other investigative activities that would breach a protection order or applicable law.
