Surveillance Investigations Brisbane

Professional Surveillance Services in Brisbane
Go Ahead Investigations provides discreet, professional surveillance services throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland, helping individuals, businesses and legal professionals obtain factual information about matters of concern.
Physical surveillance involves observing and documenting a person’s movements, activities or behaviour in circumstances where surveillance is lawful and appropriate. Depending on the investigation, observations may be supported by photographic or video evidence and documented in a clear, factual report.
Surveillance may involve static observation, foot surveillance, vehicle surveillance, public transport or a combination of these methods. The approach can change as circumstances develop, allowing the investigation to adapt to the movements and activities of the person being observed.
Every investigation is personally managed by an experienced, licensed private investigator, from your initial enquiry through to the final report. Your circumstances are carefully considered, and the proposed investigative approach is discussed with you before any work begins.
All surveillance is conducted discreetly, professionally and in accordance with applicable laws.
Your Investigation, Personally Managed
At Go Ahead Investigations, you deal directly with an experienced, licensed private investigator throughout your investigation.
From your initial enquiry and planning through to conducting surveillance and preparing your final report, your case is personally managed with professionalism, discretion and accountability.
We do not subcontract investigations to outside agencies. Where circumstances require additional surveillance operatives, this is discussed with you beforehand and only arranged with your approval.
What Are the Benefits of Surveillance?
Professional surveillance can help establish relevant facts, clarify concerns and provide objective information when circumstances are uncertain or disputed.
Depending on the investigation, surveillance may help to:
Establish a factual record of a person’s observed activities, movements or whereabouts.
Obtain photographic or video evidence where lawful and appropriate.
Document relevant dates, times, locations and observations.
Support the assessment of disputed claims, allegations or other matters requiring factual clarification.
Provide reliable information to assist clients, legal professionals or businesses in making informed decisions.
Photographic and video evidence can be particularly valuable when it documents relevant events or activities. However, surveillance findings are not predetermined, and an investigation may confirm, clarify or disprove an initial concern.
At the conclusion of the investigation, you’ll receive a clear, factual report detailing the findings and any relevant supporting evidence obtained.

Costs & Retainers
Every surveillance investigation is different, and the cost depends on the circumstances, objectives and resources required.
A minimum charge of three hours applies to surveillance services. An upfront retainer payment is required before an investigation commences. The retainer is an advance payment towards the agreed investigation costs.
During your free, confidential discussion, we’ll explain the proposed approach, expected costs and payment arrangements before you decide whether to proceed.
Where additional surveillance operatives are necessary, this will be discussed with you in advance, including any associated costs. No additional operatives will be arranged without your approval.

- Observing relevant activities in connection with suspected employee absenteeism or disputed workplace claims.
- Gathering factual information relating to suspected unlawful activities, where surveillance is legally permitted and appropriate.
